Small Groups |
As a part of our school's developmental guidance program, students are invited to participate in small group counseling sessions. Children who share a common concern meet together with the counselor to talk and share. Membership in the group is based on Teacher, Student Support Team, or Parent referral. Participation in the group involves six-eight weekly meetings (thirty to forty-five minutes per week) during the school day. Our meeting format includes discussion and hands on activities. Students are expected to respect the confidential nature of our discussions when they return to their classes and their homes. If you have any questions about small groups please contact me. I welcome the opportunity to discuss them with you.
