ATTENTION!!! Dates for the Sarah Smith Drama Club's Fall 2009 production
of "Fairytale Academy" by Michelle Van Loon will be on the following days:
School performances:
Monday, Dec. 7 @1:15 p.m. (1st and 2nd grade students)
Tuesday, Dec. 8 @1:15 p.m. (3rd - 5th grade students)
Evening performances (for friends and family):
Wednesday, Dec. 9 @7:00 p.m.
All performances will be in the AUDITORIUM
ABOUT DRAMA
This year, the Drama special will continue a little differently. K-2nd will
receive Drama during the 1st Quarter from August 10 - October 9, and then
again in the 3rd quarter from January 4 - March 12. 3rd - 5th grade students
will receive Drama during the 2nd Quarter from October 12 - December 18, and
again in the 4th Quarter from March 15 - May 25.
***During the quarter that your child does not receive weekly Drama, they
will receive one Drama class every 4 weeks through a rotating schedule.

DRAMA CLUB
Drama Club is an after school activity for those students in 4th and 5th
grade who have a passion for the Arts.
The Fall 2009 Drama Club has begun. After a successful round of auditions,
we have chosen a fabulous cast for the production of Fairy Tale Academy by
Michelle Van Loon.

STUDENTS WILL BE REQUIRED AT EACH REHEARSAL*********
Students must make a commitment to attend rehearsals regularly on Thursday
afternoons from 3:00 - 4:30 in the auditorium and stay for the duration of
the rehearsal. In addition, exemplary behavior by students who are cast in
the play is expected. Please see Miss Abromitis in the Science Lab or send
