Welcome everybody! My name is Terry Abromitis and this will be my second
year at Sarah Smith and I am so excited to be teaching Drama again. I am
originally from New Jersey and moved to Atlanta three years ago after
completing a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Penn State
University. I have since completed my Elementary Certification and Master's
Degree in Instruction from Drexel University.
I have been involved in the Performing Arts since the age of 9 and have
performed in over 75 musicals. I spent most of my experience performing at
the Centenary Young Performer's Workshop in NJ. I have also performed at
the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and completed a Summer Theatre Program
at Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City in 2003. I love
acting, singing, and most of all, dancing.
I look forward to another exciting year of Drama at Smith!
Miss Abromitis's mission for the class is to cultivate creativity and
instill confidence in all students. I hope to give all students the
opportunity to be themselves, stand out, and realize talent and potential.
Students will gain confidence in public speaking, performing, writing,
storytelling, and much more.
