This week in Kindergarten:
We will continue Unit 6 as we are practice counting by 2's, create
comparision stories, & graph conversation hearts as well as play EDM Games
with our classmates on Thursday!
We will continue our SMART Phonics program this week. This week we will
explore Sneaky Silent "e".
Our Spelling Words are a combination of sight words and phonectic words.
Our Spelling Words can be found under the Spelling Word Section on this
website.
We will be introduced and review the following Sight Words this Week:
here, eight, my, said, & were
We will engage in activities using these sounds as well as hear literature
supporting these sounds. We will also practice our handwriting using these
letters as well.
We had a BLAST during Fun Friday when Henry's mom stopped by to
work on our class art auction item! A very special thank you to Karen
Carter, Stacy's mom, for serving as Elizabeth's art assistant. Check out

We are looking forward to Ali's mom, Abi, joining us as our next FF
Parent next Friday, 2/24. We can't wait to see what she has planned for us.
We were treated to some Carter Family favorites on Friday when Stacy's mom,
Karen, stopped by to read to us. We are looking forward to hearing some new
Lisowski Family Favorites next Friday, 2/24, when Michelle's parents stop by
to read to us!
