Welcome to our third grade class! I began my journey at Sarah Smith in
January 2007 as a fourth grade EIP teacher. I began teaching fifth grade in
August 2007 and this will be my second year as a third grade teacher.
I graduated from Western Michigan University with a bachelor’s degree in
Elementary Education with minors in Science, Mathematics, Integrative Creative
Arts, and Early Education. In addition, I have a master’s degree in
Educational Leadership from Central Michigan University.
I am a half, and full marathoner. My husband, Jacob, and I recently completed
all 26.2 magical miles in the Disney World Marathon. During the summer and
fall I am a triathlete. I love completing, and have a lot of fun while racing.
I am thrilled to be at Sarah Smith for another year. I look forward to
partnering with you to promote your child’s education.
