I am extremely excited about teaching Fourth Grade at Sarah Smith. I have
heard wonderful things about the rising fourth graders and I look forward to
meeting each of you.
Before coming to Sarah Smith I taught in Cobb and two other systems in
Columbus, GA. I have been teaching for 17 years. My undergraduate degree
is in Early Childhood Education, my Masters is in Special Education and my
Specialist is in Elementary Education. I also have a Reading Endorsement
from Georgia State University.
I have taught all grade levels first-fifth and I have loved each one as
much as the other.
I have two fabulous daughters, Rachel and Abbie, and a wonderful husband,
Bruce. Bruce is also a teacher. He currently teaches and coaches soccer at
Walton High School in Marietta. We also have the BEST dog ever, Harley.
Harley is a rescue from Mostly Mutts.
