Speech-Language Pathologist:
Ashley Elliot, M.S., CCC-SLP
Sarah Smith Elementary

I am originally from New Orleans and moved to Atlanta in January 2008 to
join the Sarah Smith team!
I obtained a B.A. in Psychology from Loyola University in 2001. I later
obtained an M.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Southeastern
Louisiana University in December 2007. I have received extensive academic
and clinical training in speech and language development, disorders,
diagnoses, and treatment. I have had clinical experiences in a variety of
settings such as preschools, schools, private clinics, and inpatient and
outpatient rehab hospitals. I have worked with infants, geriatrics, and all
ages in between – and am currently thrilled about the elementary school
population! I am so happy to be a part of the Sarah Smith community!
The speech-impaired program addresses speech and language weaknesses that
have a negative academic impact.
Individual and group sessions address communication goals within the
following areas:
articulation (speech sounds)
expressive language (ability to express one's thoughts and ideas)
receptive language (ability to process & appropriately respond to incoming
messages)
fluency (stuttering)
pragmatic language (social interaction)
voice (vocal pathologies)
If you have concerns about your child's speech and language development,
