Every student is expected to write down homework and keep all homework
assignments in the three ring binder.
All homework will be started in class. I review the instructions and
expectations for all assignments. This will give your child the opportunity
to begin the assignment and allow me to check for understanding before your
child leaves school.
If your child completes homework in class, they are still required to show
you the completed homework assignment. If your child has completed the
written homework assignment, they will still have the reading and online math
practice to complete.
Every Week
Reading and Language Arts
Monday through Thursday read ALOUD for at least 20 minutes.
Math
Monday through Thursday practice math skills for at least 10 minutes using
the following website.

Spelling
Monday through Thursday complete one spelling activity. Lists will be
distributed and kept in your binder. Activities should be completed each
night and turned in on Friday.
Other Reminders
Mountain Language is an in class assignment as the activity board is located
in class. The students complete twenty writing convention questions
independently Monday - Friday.
