Buenos Dias,
I am beginning my sixth year of teaching in Georgia after
spending twelve years in the Dallas Independent School where I taught sixth
grade for nine years and fifth for three years. I enjoy family, reading,
basketball, shopping and movies. My educational background include a Masters
in Curriculum and Instruction, Gifted Endorsement, Laureate Reading
Specialist and Education Specialist in Teaching and Learning. In 2010, I was
named as the GAGE Gifted Classroom Teacher of the Year. Recently, I was named
Shiloh Elementary Teacher of the Year and made Gwinnett County's TOTY 25
semifinalist.
Through dedication, respect and nurturing, I take pride in being a causative
to the expansion of my students' learning while watching them blossom into
unique individuals and challenging them to reach higher. Together with the
parents, the children are encouraged and expected to SUCCEED, less than your
best is not acceptable.

My classroom's mission is to provide a safe, enriching and nurturing
learning environment that cultivates success for all by meeting each
individual at their learning level. Students are expected to put forth their
BEST EFFORTS, maintain a positve attitude, and exhibit self control while
they broaden their knowledge base.
