| CHICK-FIL-A SPIRIT NIGHTS!
We encourage you and your family to make plans to attend our last SCPS Chick-
fil-A Spirit nights at the Covington Chick-Fil-A from 5:00-8:00p.m. on May
27th. We will track homeroom participation for each spirit night for our
school. The homeroom with the most participation will receive a 3ft. cow
for their classroom! The cow will be passed around from one winning
homeroom to the next throughout the year.

THE FUNDING FACTORY
Please continue to send in your empty ink cartridges. Cartridges may be
turned into the front office. Our Funding Factory Committee Chairperson,
Beth Stapp, collects the cartridges and then sends them to the Funding
Factory. We are currently accumulating points, which can be used to
purchase items from the Funding Factory Catalog or we can elect to receive a
check! It’s a great way to recycle and make some money at the same time!

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
The PTO is still collecting “Box Tops for Education” labels found on General
Mills products. Please clip and save these labels and bring them in to the
front office or class. Also, don’t forget about the Box Top Market Place!
The Box Tops Marketplace allows you to earn cash for our school when you
shop online. All you have to do is register and start your online shopping
at the Box Tops Marketplace at www.boxtops4education.com. Then click on the
link to one of your favorite online stores. Over 60 popular online stores
have teamed up with Box Tops such as Wal-mart, Kohl’s, Gap, Nordstrom, The

and many others. Shop as you normally would, and a portion of your

Please continue to clip and save caps and UPC codes from participating
Labels for Education brands. Bundles of labels/caps may be dropped off at
the office or class.

KROGER EARNING PLUS LEARNING PROGRAM
A Kroger Earning Plus Learning program letter will be distributed to each
student soon. This letter, which describes the incentive program in place
with Kroger, may also be printed online at
www.krogerearningpluslearning.com. This letter has a barcode which will
need to be scanned at any Kroger location, along with an active KrogerPlus
Card, in order for our school to receive credit for qualifying purchases.
