This is my 14th year teaching in middle school, all in Columbia County (1997-
present). I love the study of social studies as I have traveled (mostly
through the military) to 17 different countries.
Retired as a Major in the Army Military Police after 23 total active and
reserve years.
Bachelor of Business/Marketing from Georgia State University in Atlanta 1979
Teacher Certified in Middle Grades Math and Social Studies in 1997
Master's Degree in Educational Leadership in 2005
Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership in 2008
I've been married for 28 years and have quadruplet children (four 18 year
old children born at the same time....three boys and one girl).
So, I am heavily involved in children's lives..interesting, but a bit taxing
at times.
To inspire students to learn about our world.
To model good behavior and expect them to do the same among their peers and
towards me, the teacher.
