How are student birthdays celebrated?

We do celebrate birthdays at school. Each child is recognized over the
announcements and in the classroom on their special day. Monthly birthday
snacks will be coordinated by room parents. When sending in the monthly
birthday snack, please be sure that they are individual servings or are
pre-cut. These snacks can be delivered to the front desk in the morning.
Napkins are also helpful!

How will agendas be used in second grade?

Agendas are used to help our 2nd graders prepare for 3rd grade. The students
are responsible for writing the homework assignments given Monday through
Thursday in their agenda. They may also be writing important reminders for
parents, as well as the weekly spelling words,so be sure to look at the agenda
daily.
