Will my child be able to participate without proper PE attire?

We ask that each student come to PE in tennis shoes, pants or 
shorts (skorts are okay too), and a comfortable shirt. Please no
flip flops, sandles, or crocs. They do not have the proper foot
support for our activities.

Does my child need a note to sit out of PE due to injury or illness?

Yes.  The note can be from the parent/guardian or doctor.  Please 
send in a note to also tell us when your child can participate
again.

How are the students graded in PE?

They are graded on their participation and attendance.

How does the student's behavior affect the conduct grade for PE?

Behavior is a big factor in your child's conduct grade.  If your 
child receives two special area conduct forms home, then your
child's conduct grade will be a U for unsatisfactory. Being
respectful of the teachers and peers is a must.

What kind of activities will my child be participating in?

We provide a developmentally appropriate and comprehensive 
experience through a wide variety of activities.

Can I volunteer for any of the special activities throughout the year?

Yes, we welcome any parents who want to help out with various 
activities throughout the year. Some include Field Day, Jump
Rope for Heart, Fun Run, etc. Just send in a note to any of the
PE coaches and we will contact you.
