Georgia PTA is part of the largest and oldest child advocacy organization in
the world, with 6 million members nationwide. The PTA mission is three
fold - to be a relevant resource for parents, a strong advocate for public
education and a powerful voice for all children. Georgia PTA will celebrate
100 years of advocacy for children in 2006 and thanks you for joining us as
we speak for every child, in every school, in every community in Georgia.
PTSA Priorities:
-Parent Involvement - Encourage greater involvement of parents with
their children and in their schools.
-Partnerships - Encourage community and businesses to address the needs
of children.
-Advocacy for Children - Educate parents on child related issues,
especially on relavent legislation
-Leadership - Encourage member's personal growth through workshops,
seminars, meetings and training.
-Membership - Encourage PTSA membership
