Please initial your child's behavior chart daily. If any behavior problems
arise, they will receive a check for that day and a note in the comments
section so you can discuss this behavior with your child.
I will email most communication from the school. Also check the web sites for
updates each week.
Students will be responsible for handing in homework every day Monday through
Friday. All assignments are to be written by the student in their agenda
daily. Unfinished classwork will be sent home either daily or weekly to be
completed as homework and returned to school for grading.
Reading every night is an expected homework assignment (approximately 120
minutes or more per week). Log in any books, magazines, etc... you would like
and complete all the boxes on the log in cursive. I will check logs once a
week on Fridays. You can find a copies of different reading logs on the
Weekly Updates for Parents page.
Graded papers will be sent home in the weekly folder every Thursday. Please
sign the page on the back each week.
Group trips to the Media Center will be every 3-4 weeks. Students may trade
Media Center books in small groups twice a week if needed. Last day for
student check out this year is May 10th.
