**Reading Log:
*Record the number of pages read nightly
*Write a reading response on what was read nightly
*Parents must sign nightly
*Record total for the week by Thursday night to be
turned in on Friday
*Will receive a new reading log every Friday, must
complete one entry over the weekend
**Weekly Word Study Activities
*Monday--Choose 3 unknown words from word list and
write the definition of those words
*Tuesday--Practice and write sort(can use word
study notebook to assist with this sort)
*Wednesday--none
*Thursday--Take a practice spelling test--parent
will call out words and student will write them in the sort correctly and
spell correctly
