My name is Melodie Whatley. In the Spring of 2007 I was given the
opportunity to join the second grade team at Vaughan Elementary School to
begin my teaching career. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the
children, parents, and staff at Vaughan Elementary. I’m looking forward to
another exciting year!
I received my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw
State University. Prior to receiving my degree in Early Childhood Education,
I worked as a Clinical Research Associate for the WellStar Cancer Program. I
have also received a Bachelor of Science in Exercise and Health Science from
Kennesaw State University and a Master of Arts in Health Studies from the
University of Alabama.
I grew up in Marietta, Georgia and now reside in Dallas, Georgia with my
husband, Brannon, and my four year old daughter, Kenna. I enjoy going to
the park, hiking, and spending time with family and friends.
