We would like to thank everyone for their generous support for our JDRF fund
raiser. As a school we collected $4600.00! Mrs. David's class collected the
most in donations and won a pizza party.
Book Character Day will be Friday, October 30th. Students are encouraged to
dress as one of their favorite book characters. Please be sure the costume
is comfortable as the students will be in them all day. Also, each child
needs to bring the book their character comes from so they can share it with
their classmates. We would ask that students please refrain from
wearing "scary" costumes.
Please remember to record the number of minutes you and your child read each
night in their reading log located on the back cover of the their daily
folder. Our literacy moms will be tallying the minutes each week. Students
will have the opportunity to earn "Reading Bucks" each week which can be
spent in our school store on Monday mornings. We will award a reading buck
to the child in each class who reads the most minutes each week, so don't
forget to record those minutes each night!
