This will be my third year teaching at Britt David. I
thoroughly enjoy teaching at such a wonderful school. The support of
administration, faculty, and parents could not be better.
Prior to teaching at Britt David, I was a teacher at Dimon Elementary
Magnet Academy. I taught fourth grade for three years. I love teaching.
I graduated from Columbus State University with a degree in Early
Childhood. I finished my Master's Degree at Troy State University in
Elementary Education. I completed my Specialist Degree in Instructional
Technology at The University of West Georgia.
I am married to a wonderful man, Joel Fitts. We have one sweet little
boy, Carter. He was just born August 8, 2009. He brings so much joy into our
lives.
We are also youth ministers at Cornerstone Church of God. Ministry is
like another full-time job for both of us. We have very busy, but fulfilled
lives.
It is my mission to get to know all of the children in my class. I love
to know unique things about each of you. It is also my mission to see each
child make academic progress throughout the year. I want everyone to pass the
CRCT. As we are learning, it is my mission that it will be a fun and
interactive process. I also want everyone to be in The Millionaire Club.
