Here are some standards that we are working on right now:
ELA-Writes a persuasive piece; writes a complete sentence; correct punctuation; types of sentences (statement, question, declaration), nouns and proper nouns, verbs and adjectives, dictionary use
Math-Can solve and create addition and subtraction word problems to 100 without regrouping; makes fair trades and purchases using coins up to $1.00 and bills up to $20.00, patterns, graphs, addition to 18, subtraction to 12, geometric shapes, fractions (1/2, 1/4), place value, can add and subtract using 2 digit numbers (no regrouping), rounding to the nearest 10.
Reading-Fluency, good expression while reading, comprehension, vocabulary, can make inferences, decode words quickly
Social Studies-Will explain that people have to make choices about goods and services because of scarcity.
Science-Will investigate light and sound.
