Research shows that reading non-fiction books is the single best way to 
improve vocabulary.  And, learning new vocabulary words improves IQ.  Most 
children really enjoy learning new things from their books.  Please encourage 
your child to tell you 3 new things that he learned from reading his/her non-
fiction book:)
