About The Teacher
I have been teaching first grade for 22 wonderful years, all at Britt David. I love my job and can't imagine doing anything else. I grew up near Eufaula, Alabama on a farm. I love animals, traveling, reading, and spending time with family and friends. I have a precious 8 year old nephew, Davis, who is an absolute joy and a baby nephew, Anderson, 3, who is just darling! My education includes a BA from Auburn, an MA from The University of Alabama at Birmingham and an EDS from Troy University. War Eagle!

I hope that my students will love learning and have a positive attitude about school! My Beliefs: I believe that all children should be treated with love and respect. I believe that all children deserve a safe and nurturing learning environment. I believe that teaching is a privelege and a joy.
