I began teaching at East Side in Feb. of 2007. Previously I have taught 1st-
8th grade in five different states. I feel very blessed to be in an
occupation that is also my passion.
Outside of school I live in East Cobb with my family. My family consists of
my husband, Greg, and three beautiful boys, Jacob, Logan and Justin. Jacob
"graduated" from East Side two years ago year and will be a seventh grader at
Dodgen this year. Logan will be going into fifth grade and Justin will be
going into second grade. When I am not busy with school work I love to play
with my boys, play tennis, cook and read.
My mission for the class is to become a community of caring and successful
learners. I teach both a social and academic curriculum. Socially we work
on correct ways to interact with each other and how to be kind and caring to
others. Academically the students will be very challenged in all their
subject areas. I believe in the individual differences of all my students
and work to help each of them grow to their full potential during the school
year. It will be a great year!
