Barnes and Noble is once again holding their summer reading promotion. Parents print this journal, kid records reading 8 books, they bring it into the store and choose a free book. :)

05-14 Our lunch time will be changing every day this week, due to the many events going on in the school.
05-07 The zoo trip is tomorrow. Please use sunscreen, wear sneakers, and have a totally disposable lunch. Please email with any questions before 9p.m.

04-25 Please send in your $2.00 for end of year envelope and stamp. Tomorrow we are making vegetable soup, please send your supplies.

04-18 Please send your zoo permission slip and money A.S.A.P. I promised the children a treat if everyone brings it back tomorrow!!! Friday night is movie night for 20.00 you can leave your kids for a movie and pizza. Mrs. Fox will be there!! Proceeds will go to East Side Relay for Life Team (cancer research). 02-17 Thanks to the special moms who came to watch the children while Mrs. Hendrix and I attended the staff luncheon. We had a wonderful week of gifts and lunches. All of our families are so wonderful!!!
2-16 I posted a picture of Mrs. Hendrix and I at our special lunch (sorry it is on the side). We enjoyed ourselves!!! We want to thank all of you for the wonderful basket of supplies today. We are thrilled to have NEW stuff.

2-15 Thank you for the wonderful lunch from TEDS MONTANA GRILL. We felt really special at our fancy table and we didn't have to eat in 15 minutes!!!

2-14 We had a wonderful morning with our Dad's and Dudes. Thanks to our wonderful room moms, we had GREAT Valentine's Day Centers. Please click on our gallery to see some pictures!!!
2-13 We are excited to see all of our DAD's and Special Guests tomorrow at 7:20a.m. Please no siblings.
2-10 Tonight is movie night. You can drop off the kids here from 6-9pm. The cost is 20.00, all of which goes to jump rope for heart. Mrs. Fox will be there, come keep her company!! The best part is that parents do NOT have to stay!!! Enjoy a night out.

1-11 Hello and Happy New Year!! Please send your student with 2 black fine point EXPO markers. We use these on the white boards for handwriting practice. Thanks a bunch.

12-20 Thank you so much for the wonderful holiday gifts!! We hope you have a restful break. A great big thanks to all the wonderful parents who helped at the party today. The children had a GREAT time.

12-19 The book exchange will take place at the holiday party tomorrow. Please send your wrapped non gender book. The party will be from 9-10:30, all are welcome!!! Please come to Chick-fil-a tonight.

12-16 Monday is chick-fil-a eat out night. We will be there between 5 and 6, please join us!! Thursday is pajama day.

12-15 We are making the gingerbread houses tomorrow. If you have not sent in your supplies, please do so.
12-08 Tomorrow is the chick-fil-a biscuit sale. Bring $3.00 and its first come first serve!!
11-18 Thank you so much to our incredible parents, who put on a FANTASTIC FEAST today!!! A very special thank you to Mr. Chandler, who saved the day when he ran home to make emergency mashed potatoes. It was wonderful to see all of you, and we hope you have a restful holiday. We are THANKFUL to spend our days with your children. If you left a blue tote bag in our room let us know.

11-17 Please sign up for the Jingle Jog!!! Tomorrow is the last day of pre-registration. We want all the families to join us. Another form is in your folder today.

See you at the feast in the morning!! Please bring/send a serving spoon with your dish. Thanks in advance to our room moms for organizing this event.

11-09 The deadline for the Jingle Jog is Friday. Mrs. Hendrix and Mrs. Fox will be there!! The field trip on Friday is totally outdoors. Please dress the kids accordingly and send a lunch that can be thrown away (no lunch boxes).
10-31 The shirt should fit your child. Michael's has these and there was a coupon in Sunday's paper.

10-31 We need the tee-shirts for a Thanksgiving project by Friday, November 4th. This needs to be a plain white tee-shirt (nothing on it). You might want to buy a package of undershirts and share with a friend. Let us know if you have any questions!!

10-27 Please send in a plain white tee-shirt ASAP. We will be cutting and dying them so please do not send your best shirt.

10-24 We are having lunch at 9:52 this week. When sending snacks, please remember that we have 20 students in our class.

10-21 Most of you are finished with the Kinder Keys Program. Please send back the folders. We are excited to see you at the Fall festival this evening!!

10-14 Next week is Red Ribbon Week (say no to drugs). Please have your child wear RED on Monday. Many parents are forgetting to send in snacks. Our extra snacks are running low. Please do not send Goldfish, the kids do not eat them. We are still collecting money for Fall Festival wristbands. Mrs. Hendrix and I are offering a picnic and bike riding for the Fall Festival Auction!! Come to the festival to bid on us!!

10-06 Now that the weather is cool in the morning, we have noticed the children struggling to put their jackets into those small back packs. If your child has one of those small bags, please consider using a larger one.

Remember we go on our first field trip tomorrow to the Chattahoochee Nature Center. Your child should wear tennis shoes and clothing appropriate for the weather. If you are sending a lunch from home, please make sure you send it in disposable containers including the lunch sack and drink container. It is very hard for us to keep up with personal items on the field trip.
We will put on the class t-shirts in the morning and keep them handy at school for each field trip. (Yes, we do launder them in between!) At field day, at the end of the year, the students will get to wear them home.

9-27 The order form for chicken biscuit is a pre-pay thing.

9-23 Please return library books. Our girls might want to continue wearing their hair in a pony tail. Thank you to all the parents who attended the parade this morning!
PLEASE continue to send in glue sticks.

9-22 The Fundations parade will start at 8:15. We will start at our classroom and tour the terrace level. Your child should come in their costume, and we will help them change after.
We will be talking about Fall and doing several activities with apples. Please have your child bring one next week.
We are in desperate need of glue sticks, please send some with your child.

9-20 We had a GREAT time at chic-fil-a last night. Tomorrow is pajama day. Please send your student in pajamas, undergarments, and tennis shoes. Please make sure the pajamas are appropriate for school (not too short or skimpy).

Ask your child to tell you about NANA NATURE.

9-19 We will be at chic-fil-a at 6:00 for the eat out night!

The envelopes for the FUN RUN payments are in your folders today. Please make the check out to East Side PTA, and submit them by Thursday September 22nd. The children had a GREAT time!!!

Please join us for the FUN RUN tomorrow. It starts at 8:15 and should be finished by 9:30. Please have your student wear tennis shoes and shorts. Please do not have your girls wear a dress or skirt. We will give the kids their FUN RUN shirts.

We really would like you to join us!!! We will be running with the kids(now that is worth seeing)!!!
