About The Teacher

All About Ms. Jones:
I have been teaching for 19 years and have enjoyed teaching every grade from
Kindergarten through Fourth. I am very much looking forward to working with
Third grade again this year!

I have a BA in psychology and early childhood education from UGA and GA
State University.

My family consists of: my husband - Sid, daughter - Hailey, two sons- Ryan
and Tyler, and our dog, Lucky.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love
reading and being outdoors!

All About Ms. Henson:

This is my 14th year of teaching elementary grades and I especially love
teaching children at the elementary ages! I have taught Special Needs
Preschool, Kindergarten, First, Second, and Fourth grades. I am so happy to be
working with Ms. Jones this year!!

I grew up in Middle Tennessee and I am a very devoted Volunteer fan. (I do
love the bulldogs when they are not playing TN). I graduated from the
University of Tennessee in 1990 with a degree in Marketing and worked in the
business world for six years. I then decided that since I've always loved
working with children, I would pursue my dream to teach. I obtained my
teaching certificates in both Early Childhood Education and Interrelated
Special Education in 1998.

My most favorite past time is visiting the Georgia and Florida coasts... I
travel to the beach whenever I have a chance. I also love to run, spend time
with friends and family, read mostly nonfiction, and am very involved at my
church.

Thank you so much for the opportunity to be a part of your child's growth this
year!!! Ms. Jones and I LOVE our new class so much!!!!
