I can't believe that we are down to the last week of school.  This year has flown by!  I want to update you on what's happening on the last 4 days.

Monday, 5/20 at 8:15 AM is the Science Animal/Habitat play in our classroom.  I am looking forward to seeing it myself since I don't teach Science.

About half the class presented their SS historical figure project today (Friday).  The rest will present on Monday, so if your child needs a prop, please send it in on Monday.

Tuesday, 5/21 at 9:00 AM is Awards Day for 3 & 4th grade.  The only 3rd graders who are recognized are those receiving awards for attendance, Student Council, Science Fair, Reflections, ESL, and Jr. Great Books.

Wednesday, 5/23 is Electronics/Game Day.  Your child may bring in a hand held video game, iPod,  iTouch, etc.  Board games are welcome as well.  Dismissal will be at 12:10.

Thursday, 5/24 (the last day of school) is Movie Day.  There will also be a special treat to end the year.  The 5th grade Walk of Honor begins at 11:45, and dismissal is at 12:10.

Thank you for all of your support this year and for all that you do at home to assist with your child's learning.  I am so proud of how hard the students work and how determined they are to be the best they can be.  The positive habits and work ethic they have developed in 3rd grade will bring them much success in the future.
