Homework

Click on the following to access all you need for homework.   Reading and practicing math facts should become a daily routine, 20 minutes of reading and 10 minutes of math facts.  You'd be amazed how regular practice for such a short period improves your skills!  Other homework should be paced through the week to take an additional 15 - 20 minutes per day.  If you are doing your best and taking more time than that, please have a parent contact me.

Raz Kids can count as your reading time if you'd like.  IXL is a fun way to practice math skills as well.  See the links on the left!

The following games can be downloaded and played with family members for fun practice of skills we learn in class!

Trading Up Game: this 2-player game challenges students to toss 2 dice, calculate the sum and take that many cents from their bank.   The student places these coins on his/her gameboard.   The player "trades up" to higher value coins whenever possible and replaces coin collections with the larger value coin.   The first player to trade up to the dollar bill wins the game.
