What are the prerequisites for Economics? Statistics?
Economics is a course taken by juniors and seniors, after having completed
US and World History courses. Economics is the prerequisite for AP
Economics and recommended for students who earn a 'B' or better in Economics.
Statistics is taken by juniors and seniors after completed Algebra I, II,
and III. Statistics is the prerequisite for AP Statistics and recommended
for students who earn a 'B' or better in Statistics.

Is it difficult?
Economics and Statistics are designed as college-level courses and will
cover many concepts in introductory university classes. As a result,
expectations will be high, but tutorials are always available. If students
are diligent with their coursework, students can be expected to do well.
The AP courses are truly college-level experiences and culminate in
challenging AP tests in May, which could allow students to earn credits for
college classes.
