BOTH BANDS PERFORM AT THE EIGHTH GRADE GRADUATION
A reminder that both the beginning band and the band will perform the processional and the recessional
at the Eighth Grade Graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 31st. Warmup in the church at 6:30 p.m.
Instrument cases are to be put in room 2. Students are to wear their school uniforms.
NO INSTRUMENTS AT SCHOOL OVERNIGHT
Instruments must be taken home at the end of the school day. Instruments are not to be left in
classrooms or the office overnight.
IDENTIFICATION TAGS
An identification tag must be attached to the handle of the instrument case. The tag must include the
student’s name and a telephone number.
FROM THE TOP
I encourage all band members to listen to "From the Top". This program features performances by
talented student musicians from around the country. It is broadcast on Hawaii Public Radio (KHPR 88.1
FM) on Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
