This will be my fifth year at St. Mark Lutheran School. I have been
teaching a total of twenty-three years, twelve in Christian Schools and eleven
in public education. In addition, I worked for eight years as an instructor
to California teachers for the Governor’s Reading Institute. I earned an B.S.
degree from Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and completed my
graduate studies at University of California at Berkeley.
I am married to a wonderful man, Bob Flores, and we live in Kaneohe. Our
four children, ranging from 24 to 36, all live in Santa Rosa, Ca. My hobbies
include cooking and traveling. This past summer, my husband and I were able
to spend extended time with both our family and friends back on the mainland.
Each day was wonderful as we experienced both the beauty and the provision
from our awesome God!
My mission is to extend the love and care of Jesus Christ to all people,
while nurturing families and preparing students to integrate faith with
life, through quality Christ-centered education.
