Welcome Back!
I hope you all had a somewhat relaxing time while we had the 2 week break. I enjoyed a very quick trip
to the Mainland to visit my daughter and grandchildren.
We have completed 1 whole quarter at this point. I can't believe how the time is flying by.
I am working on getting our class newsletters on this website so you can view them in color. That may
take some time, considering my level of computer expertise.
Please make sure to check out the monthly calendar for events that are coming up. One new event that
has been planned is a trip to see "Cinderella, the Opera". We will be going on November 4 with the
other primary grade. There is a $7 charge for this trip. More information is coming.
We do have our Fall Concert scheduled for Sunday, October 25 at 5:00. There will also be a potluck
after the program. Please make every effort to have your child participate in this program. They have
done lots of work and you will be very proud of your student.
We have begun work on our picture book. The kids are coming up with great sentences to go with the
locations and items they did the research on. Thank you for helping your child with this project. An
extra big thank you for those of you who found the time in your busy schedules to travel to some of
these places and get pictures as well as expose your child to things here in Hawai`i that they may not
have known about.
