I am the Business Department at Waimea High School. I also now service some
media classes within the department. I am have been teaching at WHS since 1985,
where I moved from Minnesota. I love this school. My heart bleeds "blue" and my
loyalty is to my students and providing them with opportunities to learn. I
believe this learning takes place in and out of the classroom, so my
assignments are not "just" in school. I want to continue to learn as well and
believe I do every year from the students.
The vision of the Business/Media Department is to prepare students to become
knowledgeable and ethical decision makers as they fulfill their roles as
consumers, workers, and citizens.
