Announcements

The next meeting of the Fine Arts Boosters is Monday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school library.    We have several important issues we need to discuss which include:

1.   Need for volunteers for the Party of Blue Jays event on May 5.  The Fine Arts Boosters is in charge of the actual event that night so we need to do our part and help out. 

2.   Mr. Ruble mentioned in the fall about doing a letter writing campaign in the spring to raise funds for the fine arts boosters club.  We need to discusas whether or not this is something we wish to do.   The other issue would be whether we had volunteers to help organize this type of fundraising. 

Looking for a different type of volunteer opportunity -  We are once being given the opportunity to work at Adventureland this summer.  Adventureland pays the Fine Arts Boosters by the hour for each person for the hours that we work.  This is one of our two fundraisers for the year.  We are in need a parent to volunteer to coordinate this.  It would involve working with Adventureland on the dates and communicating with parents to get people to work on those dates.

As all of you know,  the Fine Arts Boosters is made up of parents of high school and middle school children involved in band, choir, art, fall play, speech and musical and all of those parents are welcome to attend and participate in our meetings.
