Thank you for your interest in the Bluejay
Beginnings Preschool Program that the Bondurant-Farrar
Community
School District
is offering. This program will be available to families that have children
between the ages of three and four. The Preschool Program allows parents to
enroll children with and without disabilities in an early childhood classroom
for the purpose of providing ongoing meaningful interaction among children
with disabilities and children without disabilities.
The program is a tuition-based program.
Classes will meet 4 days a week for a half-day. The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday-Friday 8:30-11:30am
OR
Tuesday-Friday
12:30-3:30pm
Tuition for the program is $150 a month
(Sept.-May) Students with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) please
contact the school for further information about services.
The program has varying openings for
non-disabled community students to attend each class section. Community
students who are 3 years old by September 15, 2011 will attend Tuesday-Friday
8:30-
11:30am. Community students who are 4
years old by September 15, 2011 will attend Tuesday-Friday
12:30-3:30pm or Tuesday-Friday
8:30-11:30am.
Registration for the Bluejay Beginnings Preschool
program for 2012-12 will be a lottery registration held Jan-Mar. 2012. Please
watch the website and District newsletter for more information.
Lottery Registration
Registration for Bluejay Beginnings Preschool will
include a lottery. Parents/Guardians may call Anderson Elementary Office to
place their child on the lottery list for a slot in the AM or PM class. Names
will be taken from January 15 to March 15. A lottery drawing will be held
March 30. Families will be notified of their child’s acceptance beginning
April 1. Upon acceptance parents have 30 days to complete a pre-registration
form and return it with a $50 non-refundable registration fee. Watch the

registration.
Eligibility
A child must be 3 years old on or before
September 15, 2011 and be working on potty training to be accepted into the
morning session. Students attending the morning/afternoon four-year old
session must by 4 years old on or before September 15, 2011. Preschool is
open to students who reside within the Bondurant-FarrarSchool
district.
Monthly tuition of $150 is due the first of each month. Tuition assistance
applications are available at time of registration. Please call the Anderson
