Our Class is full of Star Students!
This year your child will get the chance
to be the star of our class! When your child's name is randomly chosen, he/she
will spend the whole weekend with Pig and her book If You Give A Pig A Party!
Your child will also get the chance to participate in the following special
events:
Monday:
Bring in their completed poster (please
fill out all the info. and color, and include a few pictures too!) to put up
on our Star Student Board. Don't forget to bring Pig and her book back so that
we can get her ready for the next Star Student.
Tuesday:
Bring in a special item for show and tell.
Wednesday:
Bring in a favorite CD for the class to
listen to during desk time. Please send only school and age appropriate CD's.
Thursday:
A family member can read a favorite story
or mom/dad can write a letter to the class telling us how special you are.
Send the letter in a sealed envelope, and I will read the letter to the class
during Star Student time. The children love this!
Friday:
Read your journal entry about your time
with Pig and talk about your poster and pictures.
Our entire class is excited to learn about
your child! Thank you for helping us make this a very special week!
