Spelling

          
Spelling lists will be sent home on Friday.  A pretest on the first 15 words is given on Monday.  If a child gets 100%, -1, or -2 on the pretest, they will receive all 20 spelling words, a -3, -4, or -5 receives the first 15 spelling words,  and -6 or more incorrect receives the first 10 spelling words. Please note that adjustments to this schedule are made per student performance and requests.  Our spelling test is typically taken on Thursday but on Friday when there is no school on Monday that week.

Homework is typically given on Monday through Wednesday according to the spelling contract.   Students can turn in any/all spelling homework early.  A copy of our current quarter's contract is available to view or print by clicking on Spelling-Contract-4.doc
