Conferences
Two weeks ago in your child’s weekly folder there was a conference notice asking you to schedule a conference with the office or telling you that you do not need to schedule a conference. Everyone will get a notice so please read it carefully. All conference requests should be made through the office as we are doing a team conference this time.
Spelling Tests
Starting next week, we will be collecting spelling test scores differently. We have been printing out each test, but in an effort to save paper, ink, and toner, we will not continue to print. Instead we will be putting their scores on a chart and sending that home on Fridays. If you would like your child to continue to print, please email me.
Valentine’s Day Party
We are having our party on Tuesday, Feb. 14that 2:40 pm. We will be having an ice cream party! If your child plans on bringing Valentines, he/she must bring enough for the whole class. We have 24 students in our class. We still need:
Vanilla Ice Cream
Chocolate Ice Cream
Strawberry Ice Cream
Whipped Cream
Cherries
Other candy toppings (gummy worms, M & M’s, cookie crumbs, etc.)

Please have your child keep track of his/her minutes and turn their sheet in by Feb. 22. They have to read 360 minutes to earn the free ticket. They can use the same minutes for the classroom reading log as well.
