Hi, my name is Dawn Lucas, I am 32 years old and got married to my husband on
July 4th, 2008. We have a 5 year old black lab, Ace, who was our baby until
we had our first child on March 5th, 2010! His name is Aiden and he is a
blast right now! We had our second son on September 2nd, 2011. His name is
Hunter and he is absolutely amazing! Our family is complete and we are
looking forward to watching them grow up and become best of friends!
I grew up in Lake Zurich, went to Lake Zurich High School, and graduated with
my teaching certificate from Eastern Illinois University (fun fact: Tony Romo
was my quarterback while I was there!). I had been in education for three
years prior to being hired at Big Hollow. This is my fourth year teaching 4th
grade at Big Hollow, and I love it!
Both boys are doing really well! Aiden is adjusting nicely to having a baby
brother in the house and Hunter is letting us get some sleep! I am excited to
be back in the classroom and finish the year with my class!
