Homework Due:

Monday
ReadingLog: Students are expected to read at least 15 minutes each night and record it on the reading log. Monthly logs are stapled in their homework spiral and should be signed by a parent weekly. 
 
Tuesday

Spelling List: Students will write their spelling words out once from the list provided.

Wednesday
Personal Paragraph: Students will be given a packet the first Wednesday of each month that will include 4 writing prompts. They are required to complete one paragraph per week and return it on Wednesdays. Each paragraph should be a minimum of  5 sentences and include a topic and concluding sentence. A monthly chart of writing topics  will be kept in their homework folder and can be used for this assignment if they wish.

Thursday 
Reading Sheet: 
Every Monday, students will be given a one page story or poem to read. There will be questions attached for your child to complete. This will be due on Thursday. We will use this assignment for a discussion in class each Thursday.

Friday

Math Packet: A 2 page double sided packet will be sent home Monday. It is due back on Friday when we will use it for a class discussion/review.
