I started teaching at Big Hollow in 2008. From 2004-2008 I was teaching first grade at a private school. I received my Bachelors in 2000 from Eastern Illinois University. I then went back to school to pursue my teaching certificate in 2002 from Trinity Christian College. I graduated with my elementary teaching certificate in 2004. Recently I graduated from the American College of Education with a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.
I've had a passion for teaching since I was little. I love it when I see the
light go on when a child finally figures something out!
I am the middle child in my family. I have an older brother that resides in
Wisconsin and a younger sister that resides in Illinois. My mom, dad, sister
husband, brother-in-law and myself are all teachers. I guess it runs in the
family.
I currently live in the surrounding area with my husband, Eric and our son
Zachary.
