Dear Parents,
This year, your child will have the opportunity to be Star Student!!! In addition to spending the whole weekend with Ladybug, the following schedule outlines the special events that your child may participate in:
Monday: Bring in 4 to 6 pictures to share with the class. We will
display them on the Star Student bulletin board throughout
the week.
Tuesday: Bring in one special item (stuffed animal, trophy, drawing, etc.)
to show and share with the class. These must be small enough to
fit inside your child's backpack.
Wednesday: Please bring in your favorite book to share with the class.
Thursday: Please bring in your favorite CD to share with the class. Please
make sure the music on the CD is appropriate for first
graders. Thank you.
Friday: Read and share your adventures with Ladybug! The class will
also interview the Star Student, asking him or her interesting
facts about them.
The other students and I are very excited to learn new things about your child! Thank you for your cooperation.
