I grew up in Morton and attended Blessed Sacrament School. I received a
Bachelor's of Science degree with a teaching certificate from Illinois State
University. I received a Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction
from Olivet Nazerene University. I worked at Washington Community High
School for 12 years. I taught honors Biology and honors Chemistry and was
the science department chair. I have two children who attend Blessed
Sacrament School. Kateri is in 6th grade and Tommy is in 3rd grade. I am
married to Jonathan who is a Federal Criminal Defense Lawyer. I enjoy
spending time with my family. I value a Catholic education and am excited to
be teaching science here.
Students will learn through a combination of book work and hands on labs
that will allow students to practice the scientific method. Students will
be ready for high school Science when they complete 8th grade.
