About The Teacher

Hi, my name is Sarah Mersot and I am a teacher at Blessed Sacrament School in
Morton, Illinois.  I am the Junior High Social Studies teacher/8th grade 
homeroom. I teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Social Studies, 7th grade
Literature, and 6th and 8th grade Religion.  I am also in charge of Student 
Council.

I am originally from Merrillville, Indiana and I received my Bachelor's 
degree in Elementary Education from Valparaiso University.  My husband's 
name is Mike and he attends the University of Missouri for Law School.  We 
have two dogs, Schatten (Alaskan Husky) and Nadya (Siberian Husky), and 
three cats Smokey, Petey, and Franklin.
