 These historical archives can be a little hard to move around 
in, but if you need primary sources information, this place is a 
gem.  Go into the American Memory section for teacher and kid 
friendly suggestions and searches.

 Spurlock is full of ancient history, cultures, and 
civilizations.  You can find all sorts of information here.

 The planetarium at Parkland College has lots of information 
about star and planet shows. The evening shows are sometimes best 
for adults, but those will be noted in the description.

 Our state museum has great examples of flora and fauna, Illinois 
culture, and displays by artists from out state.

This web site is full of information and learning games. You can 
find all sorts of fun games to help you master the vocabulary and 
concepts for any subject area.
Learning Games

Students can copy and paste their essays into Wordle.  The 
program will make a word find pattern that uses the most 
frequently used words the student used.  Do you see the same 
words all of the time? Work some more on specific word choice so 
you have some interesting synonyms, instead of repeating the same 
old, tired words and phrases until we are sick of them!

Forgot your math book? Forgot what that math definition meant? 
This is a cool website to look up math definitions and see some 
examples that math problem you are working on.
