Mrs. Simich graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts
degree. Furthering her education, she has gone on and obtained a Reading Specialist masters degree
in 2006 through Olivet Nazarene University & an ELL endorsement through National-Louis University
in 2011.
Formerly Ms. Wolfe & recently married, Mrs. Simich has been teaching 7th and 8th grade
Language Arts at Conrady for the past 9 years. She is dedicated to her students and
profession and plans to continue to update and acquire more knowledge and
expertise in the field of education to best suit the ever changing
educational needs of all students. Outside of Conrady, Mrs. Simich is a tennis coach,
private lesson instructor, and USTA tennis player/member.

By the end of the year students will be able to understand, demonstrate and
comprehend basic and complex principles of reading and writing styles,
techniques, and mechanics through a diverse selection of literature and
writing prompts.
Mrs. Simich's goal as a teacher is to help instruct students to learn and value the
information necessary for them to become not only accomplished students, but
to become productive life-long learners in our society. Reading and writing
combined are vital tools that need to be practiced in order for students to
succeed in their academic careers and throughout their lives.
