Welcome to Speech-Language Therapy! This is my seventh year working as the
Early Childhood Speech-Language Therapist for District 86. I also provide
therapy at Headstart and to children of East Peoria that attend
public/private preschools. I really enjoy working with preschool-age
children. My job is challenging, yet extrememly rewarding. Please feel free
to email or call me with questions or concerns. I have previously worked in
hospitals and nursing homes where I worked with children and adults with
swallowing and feeding disorders, strokes, traumatic brain injuries, autism,
down syndrome, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and
developmental delays.
I hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American
Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA), a Type 10 teaching certificate,
and I am a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
My mission is to teach children how to communicate and to provide support for
my clients and their families.
