We are very busy getting ready for Open House. We have been reading about Abraham Lincoln and George Washington and creating art projects centered around our general "President's Day" theme. The students designed their own flags (our favorite artist, Sue, led this activity) and then completed a writing project describing what they would do if they were the President of the United States.
