Class Expectations

Respect: Respect others by listening, looking at the person talking and following directions.
We also show respect by not disturbing others when walking down the hall.

Caring: Being a caring person requires you to look out for others. Think about how your
actions would make someone else feel. Treat others as you would want them to treat
you.

Responsibility: This means that you make your own choices. Think before you act. Admit your
mistakes and learn from them. It also means being in charge of your own materials and
turning in homework on time.

Trustworthiness: Always tell the truth. Do what you say you're going to do.

Fairness: A fair person plays by the rules. Rules must be followed even when it's hard to do.

Citizenship: Make choices and take actions that make the world a better place. Good citizens
make good choices, realize that there is more than one person that matters, and they
work together to accomplish a goal. Work as a team player!

Discipline System:  Talking sticks:  Students remove as a warning to stop talking.  They earn a feather at the end of the day if they still have their talking stick.  The order of the
card changes are as follows:  green, blue, yellow, orange and red.  Yellow cards miss half a recess.  Orange cards miss all of recess.  Red cards miss all of recess and a note is sent home that must be signed and returned.
