PTO Events & Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering at our PTO Events is a rewarding experience. If you are new to the neighborhood, it gives you a great opportunity to meet and make friends with other parents. It’s exciting to see families and students having fun at events you helped plan and make a success. Your time, talents or donations in support of the students of Gary D. Wright are always welcomed and greatly appreciated. Your commitment provides the additional resources needed to truly make your child’s experiences at school exceptional. If you have any questions about PTO events or volunteering, please feel free to contact a member of the PTO Board. Market Day Fundraiser- Second Friday of each month
A great and easy way to get some grocery shopping done, try new foods and recipes, monthly specials and family meals. This opportunity also helps raise money for our school. Volunteers would be needed between the hours of 12:45-2:00 the day of delivery to help organize products and get orders ready for pickup.

Daddy Daughter Dance- February 18th Planning begins in December
A magical and memorable evening of dancing and fun. Volunteers would be needed to help in the planning of; selecting a theme for the dance, getting decorations, party favors, making flyers and posters, and getting donations from local stores. Volunteers for the day of the event would help in transforming the gym and the foyer, help at the food and drink tables, check in table, assist the photographer, take photos of the event and cleanup.
