This is my 12th year in the Physical Education program, 17th year at
the school, and each and every year is more exciting with the programs that
we try to implement. This year we were presented with the Illinois Physical
Education Blue Ribbon. We are very proud of our program.
Staying active is vital. I understand that each child is different and they
will have different likes and dislikes, but they need to find something that
will keep them active and try live a healthy life. Soon with the completion
of the field, we will be able to include even more activities.
My vision is to have each individual have an enjoyable and valuable learning
experience. To arrive at this vision the mission must be to create an
environment that makes each and every child feel comfortable and gives them
courage to take chances and not worry about mistakes. Each child has a
different gift to share with the class. Each child may be at a different
skill level, but the goal is the same in that each child makes improvement
from where they begin and that the student is able to work together with
other students in a positive way. GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS A MUST! EFFORT IS A
MUST!
